Photo Shoots
On a typical photo shoot, we circle the target to get an idea of the best angles. We then double-check the work order to get the angle the customer has requested. We shoot those angles first. We then continue to circle to get other angles as determined by the photographer. After the flight the proofs are posted on the Aerial Perspectives website so the customer can select the images wanted and can determine any cropping that may be necessary. Examples of usages are enlargements for personal use, or enlargements or images on CD to be sent for publication. Images to be used in other publications may require a usage fee. All enlargements are a separate charge from the initial flight charge.
We offer two options on photo flights, depending on your requirements: scheduled or custom.
Scheduled Aerial Photo-Shoot
A Scheduled Aerial Photo-Shoot is defined as "scheduling your photo-shoot with other jobs in the same area." This method is the most economical way to obtain your aerial photos.Your scheduled flight is usually completed within a one to two week period, depending on weather and other considerations. The Aerial Photo-Shoot includes color proofs that will be posted on the web. You will be given a link to your proofs. Hard copy proofs or contact sheets are available upon request. Enlargements or other uses of the photos are charges in addition to the image capture. (See Print Services)
If your time frame does not fit the two-week scheduling process, or your requirements are more complex, we offer the option of a Custom Aerial Shoot.
Custom Aerial Photo-Shoot
A Custom Aerial Photo-Shoot is used for Special Projects, Area Shots, and Special Events or when time is of the essence and your job cannot wait to be scheduled with others. It may also involve vertical shots, which requires special setup for the vertical camera. The Custom Aerial Photo-Shoot is completed ahead of scheduled shoots as weather and other considerations permit. The price is generally somewhat higher than a scheduled aerial photo shoot as we must make a special flight to obtain your aerial photos. Enlargements or other uses of the photos are charges in addition to the flight portion. (See Print Services)
Construction Progress
Construction progress shoots are made monthly on approximately the same day. A North, East, South, West and an over-the-top shot are provided. The images are presented on 5 81/2x11 premium quality photo paper, suitably marked and dated.
